They make ends meet up with by doing menial tasks for example folding pizza boxes – and even then, get criticized by the pizza employees intended for messing up the boxes. Ki-woo highlights them to Ki-jung, who forges documents for herself as well as goes by “Jessica, ” along with she too begins making money hand over fist. When the Park’s limo driver takes the girl home, Ki-jung leaves the girl underwear in the car in order to get your pet fired: she then implies her “Uncle” as the brand new driver – who is truly Ki-taek. The last position is the one about the housekeeper, Moon-kwang (Lee Jeung-eun). She has worked for that home since before the Area family lived there — she worked for the previous owner, an eccentric creator. In order to get her fired, typically the Kims exploit her allergy to peaches, causing the girl to have allergic reactions: they then convince Mrs. Park that the girl with seriously contagiously ill and cannot be around their boy. She leaves, devastated, and Mrs. Kim is given the job, fooling the Park household into hiring the entire Ellie family.

The Kim family enjoys their massive enhance of income, and when the actual Park family decides to leave to go camping intended for Da-song’s birthday weekend, that they take the opportunity to stay in the huge Park house for the weekend break. They spend the evening sipping and eating and creating a mess of the place once the doorbell rings: it’s Moon-kwang. She claims she ended up being fired so quickly she left without being able to get some thing and just wants it back. Mrs. Kim reluctantly allows her in, and Moon-kwang runs into the basement as well as begins screaming, opening a secret passage behind a few shelves. She goes to the girl husband, Geun-sae (Park Myung-hoon), who has secretly been living within the bunker ever since the previous user moved out in order to disguise from loan sharks. This lady gives him food while Mrs. Kim looks about in horror – the lady tells Moon-kwang she needs to leave, and as Moon-kwang begs her to let them remain, the rest of the Kim family (who had been eavesdropping) falls off of the stairs and into look at – and they call the other “dad, ” etc ., which Moon-kwang films on her telephone, realizing the con the family unit has pulled. She poises to send it to the Park family and uses that so she and her hubby can force the Ellie family to do their putting in a bid.

They manage to start a good enough job that the remaining portion of the family is able to hide while Mrs. Kim gives the Recreational areas their dinner – while Moon-kwang breaks out along with runs upstairs, Mrs. Ellie shoves her back down the stairs, where she hits her head and is severely injured. Moon-kwang and Geun-sae are generally locked in the bunker. Mr.. and Mrs. Park find yourself sleeping in the living room to keep at it an eye on Da-song who may be camping out in the backyard, pushing the Kims to stay within the table, frozen all night, even while the Parks complain regarding Mr. Kim’s smell — and then later, have sex. Sooner or later, in the dead of night, they are able to sneak away. They return home to locate their apartment completely flooded with rain and waste. Ki-woo takes the rock, and the family sleeps in a shelter for the night.

The next day, Mrs. Park decides for you to throw an impromptu celebration for Da-song. The Kim family, in their roles as help, are invited and have to pretend that they how to start that there are two people locked within a bunker under the house. Ki-woo takes the rock into the bunker, where Moon-kwang has died and is ambushed by Geun-sae, who bludgeons him in the head with the rock. He then enters the particular party, where he stabs Ki-jung in the chest. Typically the party explodes into fear, and Da-song has a seizure – Geun-sae was the “ghost” he had seen in the house earlier. Mr. Park screams in his driver, Mr. Kim – who is trying to stop Ki-jung’s bleeding – for your car keys to take their son to the hospital, and throws them to him. These people land under Geun-sae, that is fighting with Mrs. Betty. She manages to eliminate him by stabbing your pet with a meat skewer. Mr. Park becomes the keys but expresses disgusts at Geun-sae’s smell – this causes Mr. Kim, who photos and stabs Mr. Park, killing him. Mrs. Recreation area faints as Mr. Kim flees.

Ki-woo wakes up within the hospital, where he had held it’s place in a coma for several weeks. He finds out that Ki-jung has died, and he along with Mrs. Kim are sentenced to probation. There has been no sign of Mr. Kim, even though the police have been looking for him for Mr. Park’s murder far and wide. Ki-woo foliage the rock in a water and observes the former Area house where he perceives the lights flickering — Ki-woo translates the flickering from Morse code, as well as learns Mr. Kim is actually controlling them from inside the fort, where he is now living, sneaking upstairs for foodstuff from the new masters. Ki-woo writes his father any letter back, resolving that will someday he will become prosperous enough that he can buy your house and their friends and family can be reunited.
